Personal Training

Nutrition Counseling now offered at Performance Training

Performance Training, Inc is launching its new Nutrition program on July 1, 2011!  Ciara Csanadi, a Registered Dietitian, has returned to PTI ready to start this new program as well as continue training clients.  Ciara spent the last year at the University of Oregon as the Sports Nutrition intern following the completion of her Dietetic Internship at the University of Tennessee.  Nutrition services will include: individual nutrition counseling, group education classes, grocery store tours, “Lunch N Learns”, cooking classes and more.

Ciara Csanadi returned to Performance Training, Inc. in June of 2011 after spending the previous 8 months as the Sports Nutrition intern at the University of Oregon (UO).  While at the U of O, Ciara counseled athletes individually, conducted team nutrition education talks, conducted BodPod testing & analysis, catered team meals and managed the nutrition bar for student-athletes.  She also worked with the 2011 National Championship runner-ups - the Oregon Ducks Football team, the 2011 National Champions - the Oregon Acrobatics & Tumbling team, and the 2011 National Champions - the Oregon Women's Indoor Track & Field team.  Ciara returned to Knoxville, TN to create and launch the Nutrition Program for Performance Training and return to personal training.  Prior to Oregon, Ciara was a personal trainer and SAQ instructor for PTI from August 2007 - May 2010.  Ciara completed her Masters degree in Nutrition Science and Dietetic Internship at the University of Tennessee (UT) in 2010.  She has a Bachelors degree in Biology from Florida State University (2004) and a Bachelors degree in Nutrition from UT (2008).  Ciara also brings unique experience in Holistic Health to PTI.  She graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City in 2006 after extensive training in Holistic Health counseling.

Towel Service

Towels are available at the Front Desk and in each of the locker rooms for members.  After use, they should be deposited in hampers, provided in both locker rooms and in the lobby.

Private Parties

Members may reserve the upstairs lounge for private gatherings.  Details can be worked out with the Front Desk.  There is no charge for the lounge but you must clean up afterwards.

Club Staff

The Club employs a staff of approximately 18 individuals to keep the Club running smoothly and efficiently.  The Club Director is David W. Price.
