TENNIS COURTS & RATES

Court Surfaces
The outdoor courts consist of 5 hard courts and 9 clay-type surface courts called by various names such as Rubico, Vel-Play and Hard-True. The 10 indoor courts are synthetic surface called Dyna-Cushion with bleacher seating accommodations for approximately 2,000 spectators.

Lighting System
CBRC is proud to have an exceptionally good lighting system. It is engineered specifically for indoor tennis and combines several types of indirect lighting, along with a skylight system to utilize light from the outside.

Court Reservations
The indoor courts may be reserved up to 7 days in advance. The outdoor courts may be reserved up to 7 days in advance with a $1.00 reservation fee. A twenty-four hour notice is required to cancel a court.

Seasonal Time
Individuals or groups may reserve indoor time for the entire Winter season.

Guest Policy
Cedar Bluff has and always will welcome guests to play at our facility. Not only does this allow us to showcase our club to potential new members but also it is a convenience to our members who wish to play with people who are not members.

In order to allow our members to continue the guest privilege but at the same time protect the integrity of the membership we will be adopting the following policy which we feel will be fair to all concerned. Guest will be subject to the following criteria in a calendar year - ie, 2011, 2012, etc.

VISITS: 1-4 $5.00 + TAX
5-8 $10.00 + TAX
9-12 $15.00 + TAX

This applies to either indoor or outdoor and is effective June 1, 2011.

After 12 visits guests will be eligible for a special membership offer - but will no longer be able to be a guest until January 1st of the following year.

 

WHIRLPOOLS AND SAUNAS

Whirlpool and saunas are available for members to use anytime the Club is open.  For your safety and enjoyment, please observe the following suggestions:

Before entering the whirlpool, take a shower; be sure to rinse off soap residue thoroughly.

Do not stay in the whirlpool longer than 5 minutes

After a whirlpool, a 10 to 15 minute sauna is recommended.

You need not dry off from the whirlpool before entering the sauna.

Directions for the use of the sauna are posted beside the sauna doors.

Children MUST be accompanied by an adult in the whirlpools and saunas.

Consult your physician before using whirlpool for therapeutic purposes.

EXERCISE ROOMS

CBRC has 2 exercise rooms which have recently been upgraded with new and improved equipment.  Directions for each piece of equipment is posted on the wall.  The equipment may be used by both men and women. 

We have teamed up with Performance Training, Inc (PTI), an experienced and educated staff of personal trainers and Speed, Agility, and Quickness (SAQ) instructors. They offer individual personal training and group clinics along with SAQ for tennis players of any age! NURSERY

The nursery is open between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding holidays. Nursery care after 12:00 p.m. by reservation only. It is available to children ages one through pre-school age only. Children under one year old will be taken by appointment only. The rate is $7.00 per hour/per child.

PRO SHOP

CBRC is proud to have Racquets & Jackets taking care of all clothing and tennis accessory needs. Also, Racquets & Jackets offers a full line of racquets, strings and grips, as well as being able to string and repair racquets. Demo racquets are available at no charge while playing at the Club only. All purchases may be charged to your Club account. The shop is open 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The store telephone number is 584-6981.

GAZEBO

The Gazebo is a gathering place for viewing and visiting with friends. It is located in the middle of the outdoor courts. It contains restrooms, a water fountain and a large observation deck overlooking the outdoor courts.

CHILDREN'S TV AREA

A television viewing area is available in the main lobby for children.

BALL MACHINE

There is no additional charge for the use of the ball machine on indoor courts.  It should be reserved when the court is booked.  There is a basket of balls available to be used with the ball machine.

LOCKERS

Lockers can be used on a daily basis while you are in the Club at no charge.  For those wishing a permanent locker, they may be rented for $30.00 per year.  You must furnish your own lock.
