"M & M" Team (Matches & Movies)
Play Dates: May 10, 17
Sign up and be placed on a team with 5 other players. Eight teams will be formed. You will be ranked on your team according to your skill level. All matches will be at CBRC on Saturdays at 12:00 and 1:30. Rain-outs will be on Sundays at 4:30 & 6:00. The team who has lost the fewest number of games at the end of 7 weeks will be the league winner. Each player on the winning team will receive a gift certificate to Regal Cinema for $35.00.

Cedar Bluff Racquet Club is a full service tennis facility located in Knoxville, Tennessee. The club features 10 indoor courts with high ceilings and excellent lighting along with 9 outdoor clay courts and 5 outdoor hard courts. It is rated as one of the premier tennis facilities in the South. Cedar Bluff Racquet Club has been the site of many local, state, and regional tennis tournaments since 1978. David Price is our Club Director and Rusty Morris is our Tennis Director.

Learn to move forward to hit high, deep lobs in the air (as volleys) instead of letting them bounce and backing you up. This shot takes away your opponent's recovery time and, with good placement, can be used as an approach shot or clean winner.

Our 25th annual Club Doubles Tournament will begin soon...the
sign-up board is up. There will be Men's and Women's 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5 divisions (as well as Mixed Doubles).
Entry Deadline: Thursday, May 1st 2008
*Play Begins: Monday, May 5th
Play will only be in the evenings.
